It’s not an exaggeration to say that every KPop fan remembers their first time listening to KPop or seeing a KPop music video. In this audio interview, third year Cal Poly student Brian Keokot reminisces his first experience with the music genre and explores why he thinks KPop has become so popular and mainstream.
Keokot is knowledgeable in various genres of music with favorites like Japanese Pop, 80’s City Japanese Pop, Japanese EDM, Japanese Pop, KPop, Korean EDM, Hip Hop, Old School Hip Hop, Trap, Rap, Various EDM, Dubstep, Heavy Metal, and others.
He later shares in the interview that his favorite song is “TT” by the famous KPop girl group Twice. (This song is played throughout the interview.)
