BTS, the most popular boy band in South Korea (and the world), are set to release their album “Map of the Soul: 7” on Feb. 21.
Fans all around the world are waiting for the album release and have set a record- breaking number of 3.42 million pre-order sales both internationally and domestically, according to the BTS’ label BigHit.

Fans are now eagerly waiting for BTS’ new music video for their first single to be released on Youtube, tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 17). Hashtags have already been made to soon be trending tomorrow on Twitter, even without knowing the title of the song.
Usually, it would be a surprise to ARMYS when a music video is released or if something is dropping. However, being the detectives that we are, ARMYS try to predict when music videos or a comeback will happen, using clues they find throughout BTS’ performances and music videos.
With BigHit releasing the schedule of the new comeback, fans can now anticipate exactly when and what is happening.
The year-long wait for the comeback has finally come to an end for millions of ARMYS. Ethan Waworuntu, a first-year at UCLA, has been an ARMY since 2017. He passionately explains his excitement for the comeback because “it’s been almost a year since their last one and there are rumors of BTS possibly collaborating with other groups for the album”.
Pre-orders had started on Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. and fans pre-ordered their albums on Target or the official BigHit online shop. Fans over the world posted pictures of themselves buying the album or of the site that showed they have purchased their album.
